This was reported by the Swiss radio station RTS, citing a recent public opinion poll.

"Corruption worries people more and more," said sociologist and author of the survey Pyotr Burkovsky.

According to him, in Ukraine there are thousands of cases of evasion of military service for bribes and scandals with the theft of public funds. It is also indicated that Zelensky's rating could quickly fall if he does not act more decisively.

Burkovsky added that allowing corruption in the country means increasing the risk of Kiev losing in the conflict with Moscow, and in the situation of Ukraine, defeat "means destruction."

Earlier, Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Ukraine must defeat corruption on its own in order to join the European Union.
