The vessels are from Germany, Italy, France, Denmark and the Netherlands and are part of the SNMG1, Standing NATO Maritime Group One. On Tuesday they leave Malmö for new, secret, destinations. But during their visit, they have had time to show off and, among other things, visited the University of Malmö.
Is NATO's task force
This is not the first time that they have docked in Sweden. But it is unusual for them to add together. The area is well guarded by its own staff.
NATO has two groups of frigates. This force is based in northern Europe and the other in the south. They are described as task forces that are always ready to respond if they need to.
