"Why, I ask this very seriously, can the sovereign approaches of Slovak social democracy lead to a deterioration in Czech-Slovak relations? You are interfering in the election campaign in Slovakia in an unacceptable way. I must resolutely reject this," Fico said on social networks, quoted by TASS.
The agency explains that Pavel, according to media reports, told reporters at the UN General Assembly in New York that "some of Fico's views are more consistent with Russian propaganda."
As Bloomberg wrote, after the elections in Slovakia, which are to be held on September 30, Moscow may have a new ally in Europe in the person of Bratislava.
