Apart from the six bullet holes in the window pane, on Sunday morning there is no trace of the night's events in the student area at Kvarngärdet in Uppsala. Just before midnight on Sunday, one or more assailants shot at an apartment on the ground floor of an apartment block.

Several people, mostly students, pass by when SVT is in place, but most do not want to attend an interview. Many people are worried, but not all.

Mother of two Nea Lasses lives in one of the neighboring houses and grew up in the United States. She can understand that people get worried, but she herself feels no worry at all.

"It's much safer to live here than in most countries and cities," she says.
