The most common argument among skeptical parents is the fear that the child will lose the ability to independently find information and evaluate it critically (90% of parents who are negatively disposed towards neural networks voted for this), according to a survey by MAXIMUM Education.
According to the study, positive-minded parents in 52% of cases are confident that neural networks, on the contrary, will help students quickly assimilate information and increase their academic performance.
The students themselves believe that neural networks will become an integral part of most people's lives, like a computer today, 45% of respondents said so. And 32% are confident that with the help of neural networks they will be able to earn more.
Thus, almost every third (28%) student uses technology for study: of these, 32% admit that they write essays or reports with the help of neural networks, for 28% technology explains complex concepts in simple language.
According to experts, in third place is the translation of a text from a foreign language (16%), and 12% were able to use a neural network to prepare cheat sheets for control.
At the same time, 22% of the surveyed schoolchildren said that they already use neural networks regularly. Most often for entertainment - this was stated by 49% of schoolchildren.
One in three (30%) said they had never used this technology.
The most popular types of neural networks among schoolchildren are chatbots (42%) and graphic (27%), 13% of the votes were received by neural networks specializing in tasks on the exam / OGE.
In total, more than 1 thousand people took part in the study.
