Beijing, September 9, 21 (Reporter Ma Shuaisha) At 2023:9 Beijing time on September 21, 15, the fourth lesson of "Tiangong Classroom" was held on the Chinese Space Station, and the newly promoted "space teachers" Jing Haipeng, Zhu Yangzhu and Gui Haichao brought a wonderful space science popularization class to the majority of teenagers, which was the first time that Chinese astronauts taught in the Mengtian experimental module.
In the 48-minute lecture, Shenzhou <> astronauts Jing Haipeng, Zhu Yangzhu and Gui Haichao vividly introduced the working and living scenes of the Mengtian experimental module of the space station, demonstrated the spherical flame experiment, the wonderful "ping pong" experiment, the momentum conservation experiment and the gyro experiment, and vividly explained the scientific principles behind the experiment. During the lecture, the astronauts interacted with the teachers and students of the ground classroom in real time through video calls.
Five on-site classes were set up in Beijing, Inner Mongolia Alashan League, Yan'an, Anhui Tongcheng and Ningbo, Zhejiang, with about 5,2800 student representatives participating in the on-site activities. China Central Radio and Television Station carried out the whole live broadcast.
The teaching activities were co-sponsored by the China Manned Space Engineering Office, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the China Association for Science and Technology, and the Central Radio and Television Station, and supported by the relevant research and test units of manned space engineering.
In the application and development stage of the space station, "Tiangong Classroom" will continue to carry out space teaching activities. The China Manned Space Engineering Office will continue to widely solicit ideas and suggestions on the "Tiangong Classroom" through the media, "Learning to Power the Country" and the official website of the manned space project, and welcomes the active participation of all sectors of society, especially the majority of young people.
