"According to a person familiar with the visit, who was granted anonymity to talk about sensitive plans, the event will also be attended by the new Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov," the publication says.
According to US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby, Zelensky will hold a conversation with Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin, as well as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley and other senior military leaders.
Earlier, Austin called on Ukraine's allies to make every effort to supply Kyiv with air defense systems.
