In the area of Kozatsky, the islands of Alyoshkinsky and Pereyaslavsky: the Russian military destroyed four DRGs of the special operations forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Four sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the special operations forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed by Russian troops in the Kherson direction near the settlement of Kozatskoye, Kherson region and the islands of Alyoshkinsky and Pereyaslavsky, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"The enemy's losses amounted to over 60 Ukrainian servicemen, an armored combat vehicle, and four vehicles. During the counter-battery fight, two US-made M777 artillery systems and one D-30 howitzer were hit," the report said.

In the Donetsk direction, units of the Southern Group of Forces, with the support of aviation and artillery, repelled five attacks by assault groups of the 3rd Assault Brigade, the 53rd and 110th Mechanized Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Kleshcheevka, Vesyoloye and Khimik (DPR).

The enemy's losses amounted to 175 Ukrainian servicemen, a tank, an armored combat vehicle and three pickup trucks. During the counter-battery fight, the following were hit: the US-made M109 Paladin self-propelled howitzer, the Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery, the D-30 howitzer, and the Smerch MLRS combat vehicle.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the actions of units of the Russian group of troops, air strikes, artillery fire and heavy flamethrower systems repelled three attacks by assault groups of the 71st Jaeger Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlement of Verbove (Zaporizhzhia region).

Fire damage was also inflicted on the accumulation of manpower and equipment of the 116th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlement of Charivne (Zaporozhye region). Up to 35 militants, eight armored combat vehicles, and two cars were destroyed. During the counter-battery fight, the following were hit: a US-made M109 Paladin self-propelled howitzer, an Acacia self-propelled artillery mount, two D-30 howitzers and one D-20.

In the Krasnoliman direction, competent and well-coordinated actions of units of the Center group of troops, strikes by army and assault aircraft and artillery fire repelled two attacks by units of the 63rd and 67th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the settlement of Chervonaya Dibrova (LPR).

At the same time, in the area of the settlement of Torskoye (DPR) and Serebryansky forestry, fire damage was inflicted on concentrations of manpower and equipment of the 63rd mechanized brigade, the 12th special forces brigade and the 5th brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.

The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to 70 Ukrainian servicemen killed and wounded, two infantry fighting vehicles, two pickup trucks and two D-30 howitzers.

In the Pivdenno-Donetsk direction, the courageous actions of units of the Vostok group of forces, in cooperation with aviation and artillery, repelled an attack by the assault group of the 110th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of the settlement of Priyutne (Zaporizhzhia region).

Air strikes and artillery fire defeated the manpower and equipment of the 79th Airborne Assault and 72nd Mechanized Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlements of Novomikhailovka and Vladimirovka (DPR). Also, near Novodonetsk (DPR), the activities of the sabotage and reconnaissance group of the 38th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were suppressed.

The enemy's losses per day amounted to 135 militants killed and wounded, two pickup trucks, as well as an Msta-B howitzer.

In the Kupyansk direction, air strikes and artillery fire of the Western Group of Forces hit the manpower and equipment of the 14th, 32nd mechanized and 25th airborne brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Zagoruykovka, Ivanovka (Kharkiv region), Rozovka and Berestove (LPR).

More than 65 soldiers of the Ukrainian army, two cars, as well as a US-made M1097 Avenger anti-aircraft missile system were destroyed. During the counter-battery fight, the following were hit: a US-made M109 Paladin self-propelled howitzer, two US-made M777 artillery systems, and a D-20 howitzer.

In addition, aviation, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation defeated enemy manpower and military equipment in 126 districts.

In addition, an ammunition depot of the 120th Territorial Defense Brigade was destroyed near the settlement of Gatishche (Kharkiv region). In addition, the command and observation post of the battalion of the 72nd mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Vuhledar (DPR), the temporary deployment point of units of the 35th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Petropavlovka (DPR) were hit.

Also, fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces and an unmanned aerial vehicle strike hit the Su-24M and the MiG-29 fighter of the Ukrainian Air Force.

Four Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles, five HIMARS and Smerch multiple launch rocket systems were intercepted by means of air defense and electronic warfare, small arms fire during the day. In addition, 42 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed.
