The next stop is the City Council, which will consider the matter on October 2. If the City Council votes yes, the plan can enter into force three weeks later and the opportunity to apply for a building permit for the Biltema area at Guttane opens up.
The project will create around 40-50 jobs in a municipality struggling with high unemployment.
– We need every single job there is, we have some notice within Moelven so we also need some positive signals, says municipal commissioner Dag Rogne (C).
