Nanning, September 9 (ZXS) -- Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Zheng said on the 17th that ASEAN countries have great infrastructure construction needs, and hope that ASEAN and China will strengthen the docking of railway transportation technical facilities, expand cooperation in the construction of smart ports, and meet the investment and operation and cultural tourism exchange needs of enterprises and people from all countries.

Pham Minh Cheng said that the current world economic recovery is slow, the demand for cooperation between ASEAN and China is expanding, and the two sides need to strengthen trade and investment more than ever. He believes that ASEAN and China should strengthen cooperation in transportation infrastructure, especially railway construction, so that railway interconnection can radiate to ASEAN countries, so that ASEAN goods can be transported to Europe and Central Asia through China's railways.
He proposed that ASEAN and China should strengthen people-to-people exchanges, cultural tourism and aviation cooperation, and strive to restore tourism cooperation to pre-epidemic levels. At the same time, the cooperation field will be expanded to emerging industries such as green economy, digital economy, circular economy, emerging materials, and sharing economy to create new economic growth drivers.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the East Expo and Summit, and Fan Mingzheng said that the East Expo and Summit Platform have become symbols and banners leading China-ASEAN economic cooperation. Over the past 20 years, ASEAN and China have made great progress in economic and trade cooperation and become each other's largest trading partners.
