"The closeness of the positions of the parties regarding the actions of the United States in the international arena, including those of an anti-Russian and anti-Chinese nature, was stated," the ministry said in a statement.
In addition, the Foreign Ministry noted that the talks between the foreign ministers were held in a "trusting and constructive manner" inherent in the Russian-Chinese dialogue.
Earlier in Moscow, a meeting between Lavrov and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi began.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry also noted that relations between Beijing and Moscow play a special role in maintaining stability.
