FDP leader Lindner: Mild flu symptoms

The virus situation has recently worsened again in Germany. Now German Finance Minister Christian Lindner has also tested positive for the coronavirus. The dpa news agency learned this from ministry circles. The appointments for the coming days have therefore been cancelled. The FDP leader has mild flu symptoms and is now working from home, it said.
Earlier, it became known that German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius is also infected with the coronavirus. The SPD politician is therefore not taking part in an international meeting to support Ukraine at the US Ramstein air base this Tuesday. This was confirmed by a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense in the evening, previously reported by the "Bild" newspaper.
At the US base in Rhineland-Palatinate, high-ranking military and defense ministers from numerous countries want to discuss further aid for Ukraine in its defensive fight against Russia.
