According to reports, the theme of this year's East Expo is "Building a Home in Harmony, Destiny and Common Future - Promoting the High-quality Development of the 'Belt and Road' and Building an Economic Growth Center", during which the opening ceremony, the 20th anniversary of the East Expo and the summit results exhibition, the third Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Economic and Trade Cooperation Business Summit Forum and other activities will be held.

During this East Expo, a side event on the theme of "Institutional Openness: New Pattern of Regional Economic Development" will be held for the first time, and participants from ASEAN countries will conduct in-depth discussions and exchanges on steadily expanding the institutional opening up of rules, regulations, management, standards and other institutions in the region.
This year's East Expo will continue to hold institutional activities such as the 3rd RCEP Summit Forum around multilateral and bilateral cooperation mechanisms such as the Free Trade Area Version 0.3, RCEP, and the "Belt and Road", and release the Blue Book of "China-ASEAN Free Trade Area Version 0.<> Business Prospects Perspective".
