With the theme of "Focusing on Deeply Grasping the Outstanding Characteristics of Chinese Civilization, Building Modern Civilization of the Chinese Nation, and Persisting in Inheriting and Carrying Forward Tibet's Excellent Traditional Culture", a number of scholars delivered keynote speeches on topics such as "The Connotation and Relationship between Tibetan Culture and Chinese Culture", "Innovative Development of Tibet's Excellent Traditional Culture" and "Outstanding Characteristics of Tibetan Culture".
Chen Zongrong, secretary of the leading party group of the China Tibetology Research Center, said that General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the symposium on cultural inheritance and development comprehensively, systematically and in-depth expounded a series of major theoretical and practical issues in the inheritance and development of Chinese culture from the overall strategic height of the development of the cause of the party and the country, which is highly political, ideological, strategic and instructive, and is a programmatic document shining with the light of Marxist thought, a guide to action for building a modern civilization of the Chinese nation, and an extremely important milestone.

Professor Dandrup Aung Ben, former deputy director of the Nationalities Committee of the National People's Congress, analyzed how Tibetan culture should be better passed on and developed from three dimensions. Danzhu Aung Ben pointed out that when looking at the culture of a nation, we should not only think that "this is his", "it is that region" or "this is mine", but we should take a long-term view - this is Chinese, human, and the characteristic culture of each nation is a unique contribution to human society. Zhang Yun, a researcher at the Institute of History of the China Center for Tibetology, said that inheriting and carrying forward Tibet's excellent traditional culture is an important duty and mission of Tibetology studies, and Tibetology studies should serve to safeguard the unity of the motherland and strengthen ethnic unity, and serve to promote the long-term stability and high-quality development of Tibet and the four provinces-related counties, showing the responsibility and Chinese characteristics of Tibetology studies.
