"Preemptive fire damage": the "West" group announced the repulsion of five counterattacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction

The head of the press center of the West group, Sergei Zybinsky, announced the repulsion of five counterattacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine per day.

According to him, Ukrainian troops attempted to regain lost positions in the Kupyansk direction by units of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade and the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade.

"By inflicting a preemptive fire defeat with the group's artillery, all counterattacks were thwarted, the enemy's losses amounted to an infantry platoon," Zybinsky said.

In addition, in the defense zone of the 1st Tank Army, the enemy assault groups of the 44th Separate Mechanized Brigade twice attacked the positions of Russian troops in the area of the settlement of Novoselovskoye.

"The enemy's advance was revealed in a timely manner. The fire of the towed howitzers "Hyacinth-B" and self-propelled guns "Msta-S" inflicted fire damage, the attacks were repelled. Destroyed up to a platoon of manpower," said Zybinsky.

Along with this, the crews of the Ka-52 and Mi-35 attack helicopters of the Zapad group of forces carried out 12 air strikes on concentrations of manpower and firepower of units of the 14th and 32nd separate mechanized brigades and territorial defense units in the areas of the settlements of Sinkivka, Stelmakhovka and Kislovka.

Northeast of Nikolskoye, strikes were made on a stronghold and places of concentration of nationalists. The advance of two groups of enemy infantry southeast of Novodarivka and north of Priyutne was also suppressed.

In turn, the head of the press center of the Dnepr group, Roman Kodryan, said that the artillery of the association, as part of the counter-battery fight against the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson direction, identified and destroyed three 120-mm 2B11 mortars with calculations in the area of the village of Poniatovka, as well as a towed 155-mm howitzer M777 on the outskirts of the village of Tomina Balka.

In addition, in the area of the settlement of Cossack Camps, an attempt to transfer a sabotage group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a high-speed boat was suppressed.

The head of the press center of the Center group, Oleksandr Savchuk, said that during the active defense in the Svatovsky and Krasnolimansky directions, advanced units, with the support of artillery and aviation, thwarted and repelled five attempts to attack assault groups of mechanized brigades from the 68th Jaeger Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy lost more than 50 militants.

In addition, the Tor-M1 and Osa-AKM complexes shot down four unmanned aerial vehicles in the areas of Rubizhne and Kreminnaya. As part of the counter-battery fight, more than 30 enemy artillery units were opened and suppressed.

The group's aircraft carried out eight missile strikes on the accumulation of manpower and fire weapons of militants in the areas of the settlements of Serebryanskoye forestry, Chervonaya Dibrova and Terny.
