Where is the irrigation ban?

Irrigation bans have not been introduced in any municipality in Dalarna, but all municipalities urge to be economical with water consumption.

• Falun and Borlänge have, however, introduced irrigation restrictions on 12 June and 14 June respectively, which means that you may only use larger amounts of water (e.g. sprinklers) at night. Read more about the restriction here.

• Seven villages in Hedemora municipality, including Hedemora municipality. Stjärnsund, has a local exception where irrigation is prohibited every summer due to small water sources. Here you can see an interview about the ban in Stjärnsund.
