The police write on their website that they spoke to the gunshot man before he was taken by ambulance to hospital. A preliminary investigation into attempted murder has been opened.
"We will gather information about the case," says police spokesperson Tove Hägg.
The man is seriously injured but has not suffered life-threatening injuries, and is receiving hospital treatment.
One person deprived of liberty
At midnight, the police brought in a person for questioning.
"There is no one who is yet suspected of the crime, but we have brought in a person for questioning who is deprived of liberty. It is a man born in the 00s.
Police have cordoned off the scene to conduct a forensic investigation, knocked on doors and are taking in witness statements from people who live or were in the area.
"We have dog patrols in place to search for traces at the crime scene, and for objects such as weapons and empty casings.
