It's an incredible survival story worthy of a Hollywood movie. In the first photos of the children released by the press, we see a dozen people, soldiers and members of the indigenous community, around the four children wrapped in a survival blanket. They look weakened, reports our correspondent, Najet Benrabaa.

Colombian President Gustavo Petro immediately reacted and confirmed the good news to the media. "They are being examined by doctors. They are in San José del guaviare. This is their first medical visit. If the doctors give the green light, the children might be able to come to Bogotá or Villavicencio. Tomorrow I will try to speak with them. Cooperation between the armed forces and members of the indigenous peoples, good connoisseurs of the jungle, much more than we do. Well, this collaboration has been effective. It is an example for the country of what can be achieved when we agree to make alliances, compromises to achieve a common goal. »

The three adults died and their bodies were found by the military shortly after the accident.
