Lee Jae-myung said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between South Korea and China 31 years ago, the two peoples have respected and trusted each other, and the two sides have established a strategic cooperative partnership, making great contributions to the development and prosperity of Northeast Asia. The current complex evolution of the international situation has had an impact on ROK-China relations. The regression of public opinion and mutual trust between the two countries is worrying, and the two sides should work together to change this situation. It is hoped that the two sides will further deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields such as economy and trade, culture and tourism. The Democratic Party is willing to continue its efforts to promote the development of ROK-China relations.

Xing Haiming said that China and South Korea are neighbors and partners that cannot be separated. Thirty-one years ago, the two sides broke the ice of the Cold War, established diplomatic relations, and achieved fruitful results in promoting cooperation in various fields between the two countries. China has always respected South Korea's core concerns, and South Korea should earnestly respect China's core concerns on Taiwan and other issues. We welcome Korean enterprises to strengthen their confidence in cooperation with China, adapt to changes in the Chinese market and industrial structure, and continue to share the dividends of China's economic growth. The Democratic Party attaches importance to relations with China and has been actively promoting mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries for a long time. Under the current situation, I hope that your party and the first party will continue to care for and support China-ROK relations, and play a positive role in enhancing the correct understanding of China in Korean society and promoting the healthy and stable development of China-ROK relations.
