"The supply of groups of Ukrainian troops has been disrupted": the Russian military attacked ammunition depots and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

On the night of June 9, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a group strike with high-precision long-range sea- and air-based weapons at ammunition depots, weapons and military equipment of foreign production, including unmanned aerial vehicles.

"All designated facilities are hit. As a result of the strikes, the supply of groups of Ukrainian troops in the areas of hostilities was disrupted, "said the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov.

According to the Ministry of Defense, aviation, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit 97 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 126 districts during the day.

An ammunition depot of the 79th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Krasnohorivka (DPR) and a communications center of the 102nd Territorial Defense Brigade near the village of Huliaipole (Zaporozhye region) were also destroyed.

In addition, two command and observation posts of units of the 24th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dzerzhinsk area, reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Gulyaipole, Omelnik and Preobrazhenka (Zaporozhye region), as well as a US-made AN / TPQ-37 counter-battery radar near Serebryanka (DPR) were hit.

During the day, air defense systems intercepted two Storm Shadow cruise missiles and 14 HIMARS multiple rocket launchers. Also, 13 Ukrainian drones were destroyed, and a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force was shot down near the settlement of Babino (Kherson region). Along with this, fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 near the village of Novoye Zaporozhye (Zaporozhye region).

Reflection of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also spoke about the reflected attempts of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions.

According to the ministry, in the area of the Vremevsky ledge, units of the Vostok group of troops repelled four attacks, which were carried out by two battalion tactical groups of Ukrainian troops, reinforced with tanks, in the areas of the settlements of Levadnoye (Zaporozhye region), Novoselka, Storozhevoye and Neskuchnoye (DPR).

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, thanks to the actions of units of the Russian Armed Forces, air strikes and artillery fire, two attacks by Ukrainian troops were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Novodanilovka and Mala Tokmachka (Zaporizhzhia region).

In addition, heavy flamethrower systems defeated two clusters of manpower and equipment of the 47th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, located south of the city of Orekhov (Zaporozhye region).

The total losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions per day amounted to 680 Ukrainian servicemen, 35 tanks, 11 infantry fighting vehicles, 19 armored combat vehicles, six vehicles, including three HMMWVs, as well as a French-made Cezar self-propelled artillery.

The situation in the NWO zone

As follows from the report of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in the Donetsk direction, the most active hostilities were conducted in the areas of the settlements of Maryinka and Avdiivka (DPR).

Thus, the fighters of the Southern Group of Forces successfully repelled six attacks by units of the 110th Mechanized, 59th Motorized Infantry and 79th Airborne Assault Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the directions of the settlements of Khimik, Krasnogorovka, Pervomaiskoye and the northern outskirts of Maryinka (DPR).

"There are no wedges in our defense," the defense ministry stressed.

The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to 410 dead soldiers, four tanks, eight infantry fighting vehicles, seven vehicles, a US-made M777 artillery system, and an Msta-B howitzer.

On the Kupyansk front, aviation and artillery of the Zapad group of forces attacked manpower and equipment in the areas of Novomlynsk, Molchanovo, Berestove (Kharkiv region) and Rozovka (LPR).

In the areas of Olshany (Kharkiv region) and Novoselovskoye (LPR), the activities of two Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups were suppressed.

According to the Ministry of Defense, over 30 Ukrainian servicemen, three vehicles, a Uragan MLRS combat vehicle, as well as two D-30 howitzers were destroyed in this direction during the day.

On the Krasnoliman front, aircraft and artillery of the Center group hit enemy units in the areas of Nevskoye (LPR), Yampolovka and Grigorovka (DPR). In addition, a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group near the village of Chervonaya Dibrova (DPR) was destroyed in this sector.

In total, during the day in this direction, the enemy lost more than 50 soldiers, one infantry fighting vehicle, two cars, two Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mounts, as well as a D-20 howitzer.

In the Kherson direction, up to 70 Ukrainian servicemen, ten armored combat vehicles, seven vehicles, a Grad MLRS combat vehicle, an Akatsiya self-propelled artillery mount, and a D-30 howitzer were destroyed.
