"The Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv invites Ukrainian and U.S. registered nonprofit, nongovernmental organizations to apply for funding to support entrepreneurship in the arts and creative industries — industries that represent a leading socio-economic power in times of crisis," the grant description says.

Employees of the American department emphasize that the target audience of the program is young people, entrepreneurs, art managers, cultural leaders and the government of Ukraine.

At the same time, one of the objectives of the program in the document is to stimulate innovation, "increase awareness and sustainability."

Political scientist Alexander Dudchak, in a conversation with RT, noted that Washington, with the help of such projects, imposes Western values and creates a "new identity" for Ukraine.

"They (the United States. - RT) have already formed a new identity for the political nation of Ukrainians. The Ukrainian leadership does not hide this. Now they have taken up culture, because there is little left of the culture there, so they decided to direct it in the right direction. Probably, this will be connected with the development of pseudo-national trends, and there is no doubt that LGBT people will be mixed there, and all these Western trends and values. They are forging a new person," Dudchak said.

The program should be implemented within one year, according to the US diplomatic department.

Earlier, the US diplomatic mission in Kiev planned to introduce American content into theaters "to support the performing arts" in Ukraine.
