According to Peskov, the state, entrepreneurs and groups of entrepreneurs are trying to come up with ways to fight for their interests in order to return their assets from abroad.

He noted that this is a very difficult and long way, as the West has encroached on property rights.

On April 11, the Investigative Committee opened a case because of Kiev's misappropriation of the assets of a Russian bank.

On May 25, European Commission spokesman Christian Wiegand said that the EU countries had reported to the EC on the freezing of more than €200 billion in assets of the Russian Central Bank.

Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Olga Polyakova said that one of the systemically important Russian banks has already allocated blocked assets to a separate legal entity.
