"The retail market is tough at the moment and we, like everyone else, are affected by cost inflation in rents, salaries, purchasing costs and more," says Niklas Carlsson, Head of Communications at Clas Ohlson.

He also believes that consumers have at the same time reduced space in their wallets.

"And all this together means that we need to streamline ourselves in everything we do," says Carlsson.

Unclear how many people are affected in Insjön

According to the Head of Communications, there is currently no information on how many people are allowed to go in Insjön, but the change affects all offices, both in and outside Sweden.

What do your employees say about the news?

"Of course, this is not good news, but we have a constructive dialogue with the unions and are working to handle this in the best possible way," says Niklas Carlsson.

Just under six months ago, news broke that the chain was laying off 85 employees and 40 of them worked in Insjön.
