The rain returns this Thursday to the Peninsula. Seven communities are on yellow alert for storms due to the incidence of storm Oscar that, after moving away from the Canary Islands, will leave in the Valencian Community -in the interior of Valencia- hail and accumulations of 20 liters of water per square meter in an hour.
The alerts will be activated progressively with special impact during the afternoon and will affect, in addition to the Valencian Community, Andalusia, Asturias, both Castillas, Extremadura and Galicia, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), on its website.
In the interior of Andalusia the rains will accumulate 15 liters per square meter in an hour in the provinces of Cádiz, Córdoba, Jaén and Seville.
Asturias will also collect the same amounts, including the western coast, from 14 pm.
In Castilla y León the rains will be 40 liters per square meter in 12 hours in the south of Ávila and Salamanca, and also in Extremadura, in the north of Cáceres.
The community of Castilla-La Mancha will record rainfall of 15 liters per square meter in one hour and will be more abundant in the Tagus Valley, especially in Toledo; it will also rain heavily in Albacete and Cuenca.
Galicia will activate the alert in the afternoon for rains of 15 liters per square meter in an hour in almost the entire region.
