It is specified that the fire occurred in an apartment on the sixth floor.

"A young boy died. There are victims, including minors. On the spot, the work of law enforcement agencies and special services is coordinated by the Gagarin interdistrict prosecutor Roman Nefedov," the prosecutor's office said.

To accurately determine the causes of the fire, experts will conduct an examination.

The department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Amur Region previously reported the death of a woman with a newborn child in the village of Yuktali in the Tyndinsky district.

The exact cause of death of the woman and child will be established by forensic experts.

Prior to that, in the Tchaikovsky urban district of the Perm region, four people, including two children, died during a fire in a private house.
