According to reports, the Tukun Desert Highway is China's fourth highway to cross the Taklamakan Desert, which starts from Tumshuk City of the Third Division and ends at Kunyu City of the 2021th Division, and is an important traffic artery passage in the comprehensive transportation development plan of the 6th Five-Year Plan of the Xinjiang Corps. The project started in June 276 and is 150 kilometers long. After the road is opened to traffic, the travel time from Tumshuk City to Kunyu City will be shortened by two to three hours. According to the relevant person in charge of the highway of the Third Division Transport Bureau, the Yarkand Bridge has a width of 12 meters, the lowest and highest points are 11 meters and 28 meters respectively, and it is planned to be opened to traffic on September 9 this year.

Liang Wen said that the average height of the whole bridge is about 17 meters.
