For this 14th day of mobilization, the intelligence services expect between 400,000 and 600,000 demonstrators on the 250 gathering points throughout France. Placed under very high surveillance, some parades should see in their ranks a few hundred thugs. Europe 1 draws the map of the "angry".

Parades placed under very high police surveillance. This Tuesday, up to 600,000 demonstrators are expected everywhere in France for the 14th day of mobilization against the pension reform. 11,000 police and gendarmes are mobilized, including 4,000 in Paris. And in a note from territorial intelligence, to which Europe 1 had access, the authorities fear excesses in many cities.

Inadmissibility for some protesters

Starting with Paris, where the police expect between 1,000 and 1,400 radical activists. Among them were foreign demonstrators from Spain, Germany and Ireland. On the instructions of the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, 17 people have already been denied access to the territory. These overflows are also planned in other cities of France, including Nantes, Rennes and Strasbourg. The intelligence provides between 150 and 300 thugs, small groups that will seek to confront the police.

This will also be the case in Brest, Charleville-Mézières, but also in Lyon, where nearly 800 troublemakers could be invited to the parades. Risks of conflagration have also been identified in cities such as Foix, Rouen or Albertville, where the radical fringe of the Yellow Vests could join members of the ultra-left. The maintenance of order will therefore be closely scrutinized, a last major public order maneuver before the traditional summer break.
