Already on the night of Tuesday, the Gothenburg police received information that the white whale had been sighted in Fiskebäck harbor in Västra Frölunda. And so it was.

"The whale was apparently fine and seemed almost as curious about the spectators as the spectators were about it," the Gothenburg South Police wrote on Facebook.

Later in the day, "Hvaldimir" seems to have found its way further into the Göta River and appeared in the middle of the bathers in the newly inaugurated Jubileumsbadet in Frihamnen.
