The woman and the two men, all in their 50s, had during the evening of December 28 last year been drinking liquor and beer inside a caravan in a machine hall on a farm in Malmö.

But during the evening, the now accused man allegedly thought that the woman "became disturbed" and threw her out, according to information from the preliminary investigation.

The prosecutor claims that he tied the woman behind the tractor, drove around the muddy field and then left the woman out in the cold. An event that has been partially captured by the farm's surveillance camera.

The woman was found ice cold in the yard

When the other man was going home early in the morning, he called for a taxi. The person who received the order was the driver Ahmad El Saleh.

He describes how the man asks him to wait while he goes to retrieve his wallet. But when the man returns, he asks Ahmad to call 112.

"He said his girlfriend was dead over there," says Ahmad El Saleh.

Ahmad drove into the yard and saw the woman.

"She was lying on her stomach, she was freezing cold, completely silent, completely dead.

While the other two men stood behind him watching, Ahmad El Saleh followed the dispatcher's instructions and performed CPR for several minutes.

"I kept thinking that I had to help her.

Man suspected of attempted murder

The two men were arrested because the police suspected early on that the woman had been the victim of a crime. Her clothes were torn and one of her mittens was lying by the deep tire tracks in the field.

One man is no longer suspected of a crime, but a 55-year-old man has been charged on suspicion of attempted murder. In interrogation, he has denied any wrongdoing and says he does not remember exactly what happened.

The woman does not remember the incident and has therefore not been able to give her version in interrogation.

Ahmad El Saleh will carry the event with him for a long time.

"It feels fantastic that you have been able to help a person to live on," he says.
