Ulrika Sundquist is a well-known face in Region Norrbotten. She worked in Region Norrbotten between 2007 and 2019, the longest time as HR Director. For three months during the summer of 2019, she was acting Regional Director.
Challenge
"Skills supply is one of Region Norrbotten's biggest challenges. Therefore, Ulrika feels like an obvious choice as the new regional director with her long experience of such issues, says Anders Öberg (S), chairman of the regional board.
That's what she should prioritize
Ulrika Sundquist, herself says this in a press release:
– It is a major challenge to secure the supply of skills throughout our county and my experience is that difficult tasks are best handled together. Therefore, I will prioritize collaboration both internally within the region and externally. We need to attract new employees, but we also need to ensure a sustainable work environment with good development opportunities to retain our current employees.
