Five lobitos is one of those stories that has fallen in love with the public and critics alike. Alauda Ruiz de Azúa's first feature film, in which the role of motherhood conveys all relationships and feelings, has shown how perseverance and tenacity bring great success.

The director explains in an interview in Mucho por Hacer, CaixaBank's project aimed at financial education, that before being one of the fashion filmmakers there has been a lot of experience and hours of dedication and, above all, perseverance. Now, what there are are many recognitions such as the Goya Award for Best New Director, which he collected last February.

Daring to take the plunge

Alauda Ruiz de Azúa has never lost focus since, as a child, she began to dream of making films. He studied at the Film School and, for years, directed several short films and worked in Advertising.

After these years soaking up knowledge, there came a time when "history appeared". "I felt that I had all that trade of all those years of advertising and, at the same time, I had the desire to get into an adventure that I did not know where it was going to take me and to learn new things," explains the director. It was then that he dared to take the plunge.

Constancy and intuition

From the time he began writing the script for Cinco Lobitos until the shooting kicked off, five years passed. "Consistency has been fundamental," he says. And he adds that "the experience of what I have lived has given me security, it has given me confidence in intuitions."

For Alauda Ruiz de Azúa, perseverance and all the experience she is living has made her "very enthusiastic" and has helped her to "recover faith in many things". Thanks to her work and Cinco Lobitos, the young woman is "eager to continue doing things, to try and keep learning."

Precisely, sometimes we would like to launch ourselves to pursue a dream or a goal and we do not dare to take the step because we do not know where to use or how to carry it out. In the next chapter of Mucho por Hacer, the financial expert, Natalia de Santiago, will give some keys that should be known before undertaking a project and that can be helpful to approach a business idea from another perspective.
