After the allegations against Rammstein became known, Federal Minister for Women's Affairs Lisa Paus (Greens) has called for measures for the concert business. "Young people in particular need to be better protected from attacks," Paus told the AFP news agency. She proposed protection areas for women as well as the use of so-called awareness teams, which are available in case of suspected sexual assault.

Paus called for a "serious debate about the responsibility of artists and promoters towards their fans," as she said. The minister invited the music industry to join the "Alliance against Sexism". The alliance opposes all forms of sexism and sexual harassment."

In addition, Paus is pushing for the abolition of the so-called "Row Zero" system. This refers to the practice of selecting certain young women at concerts to stand at the front directly in front of the stage.

The »Zero Row« directly in front of the stage had fallen into disrepute because it plays a role in an alleged system with which young women are said to have been introduced to the band. According to reports from women, those who were led to after-show parties were selected in "Row Zero". Previously, the Munich Greens had already called for a ban on "Row Zero" before the upcoming Rammstein concerts in the city.

Female Rammstein fans are said to have been secretly drugged at parties around the band's concerts – according to the most serious accusation so far. Some are said to have been sexually harassed in this state. At the center of the allegations is singer Till Lindemann. The band strongly denies the allegations. However, Rammstein has so far left specific questions about the allegations unanswered.
