Russia's capital Moscow was attacked with about thirty drones on Tuesday. Since then, attacks have also targeted a Russian oil depot and several locations in the Russian border region of Belgorod.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
"Recently, we have seen more and more attacks on Russian territory as well. Normally, Ukraine has tried to keep this at arm's length and deny any direct involvement in the attacks, but most recently they saw how the Ukrainian side warned that Russian attacks on Ukraine would have consequences, says SVT's foreign reporter Carl Fridh Kleberg.
