Member of the European Parliament Irish MP Claire Daly attacked the European Union for its support for the Israeli occupation government despite its continuous violations against the Palestinian people.

This month, Israel bombed #Gaza 323 times. 10 🇵🇸 civilians killed. 1,100 displaced. 150,000+ #Palestinians killed or injured in Gaza and #WestBank since 2008. 33,000 were children.

More than 150,2008 Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank have been killed and injured since 33, including <>,<> children.

"The EU stands by while this is happening, describing Israel as a friendly country. We build homes and schools in the West Bank, and then the Israelis come and destroy them."

In sharp language, she asserted, "We cannot consider ourselves a union of principles while we continue to call Israel a friendly country, we must discuss this."

On May 15, Dali marked the 75th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba with a tweet, saying, "There has been a catastrophe for the Palestinian people. Violent beginnings of the Israeli occupation and continue to this day."

Today is #NakbaDay. 75 years ago a catastrophe was visited on the Palestinian people – the violent beginnings of Israel's occupation. It continues today. @vonderleyen recently described these events as a "dream." That is unacceptable, and must be condemned. #VonDerLies #Nakba https://t.co/KAEKd6KCxk pic.twitter.com/uFZrdyhArm
