61 people at the dairy in Luleå may be affected if the plans become reality. But farmers will not be negatively affected, according to the company.
– No, quite the opposite. Norrmejerier is owned by our farmers and our sole purpose is to create conditions for profitable milk production throughout Norrland, says Norrmejerier's CEO Gerhard Bley.
Farmer Ulla thinks it's boring but still understands the plans.
"We have to," she says.

Rather, the CEO believes that the closure can strengthen farmers.
"By doing this action, we will strengthen the profitability of our farmers at farm level. This is a basic prerequisite for us to have dairy farmers in Norrbotten," he says.
