Beijing, June 6 (Zhongxin Net) -- The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) announced to the media on 4 June that the fourth batch of space science experiment samples of the Chinese space station returned to the ground with the Shenzhou 6 spacecraft return module on the same day, and delivered the space application system led by the Chinese Academy of Sciences at the Dongfeng landing site in the morning. In the afternoon, some experimental samples arrived at the Space Application Engineering and Technology Center (Space Application Center) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, and the overall space application system and relevant experimenters checked and confirmed the basic status of the returned experimental samples, and handed over relevant experimental scientists for follow-up research.

According to reports, the space application system with the Shenzhou 15 spacecraft return module down a total of 20 scientific project experimental samples, including cells, nematodes, Arabidopsis, regenerated rice and other life experimental samples, as well as a variety of alloy materials, new infrared detector materials, amorphous thin film materials and other material experimental samples. The total weight of the downlink experimental sample is more than <> kg. Subsequently, scientists will analyze and study the returned space science experiment samples. (End)
