According to the lawyer, cases of illegal influence on the political situation in Russia through foreign organizations and through citizens of foreign states have recently become more frequent.
"This influence is aimed at destabilizing the situation in Russia, at splitting society, at causing confusion. Causing hatred, discord, enmity between the citizens of Russia. I believe that the participation of persons with dual citizenship can be interference, including in the elections in Russia," she added.
Yarmush believes that the financing of the activities of political parties by such persons should be prohibited.
"Either renounce your second citizenship and leave only Russian, or stop influencing the political situation in Russia," the interlocutor of RT concluded.
In Russia, it was proposed to ban persons with dual citizenship from being sponsors of parties.
