But the Land and Environment Court postpones the questions about final conditions regarding, among other things, emissions into the air of dust and metals, emissions of nitrogen oxides, emissions of mercury, dioxins and more.

H2GS has already received permission to begin construction in July 2022. It is also already clear that the steel company has been granted species and habitat protection exemptions, permits to divert Lillbäcken and permits to divert groundwater from soil and rock cutting.

The total for the steel mill in Boden is estimated to be SEK 50 billion.
