Two minors hospitalized in Albacete after being electrocuted by the catenary of a train

Two minors, aged 13 and 14, have been admitted to the hospital in Albacete after being electrocuted after touching the catenary cable of a train car in La Roda.

The events happened after 20.30 on Wednesday in the siding of the railway station of La Roda, as reported by the emergency and emergency service 112. Apparently, the minors climbed onto the roof of a wagon and were electrocuted when they touched the catenary cable.

The 14-year-old was transferred in an ICU to the Hospital of Albacete while the 13-year-old was taken to the same center in a life support ambulance. The emergency doctor and agents of the Civil Guard and the Local Police also intervened in the event.
