Inducted interim coach after the dismissal of Oscar Garcia on October 13 and confirmed until the end of the season in November, the Belgian technician has signed a new contract with the Champagne club until 2025.

Until now, the Belgian, who does not have the necessary diploma to officiate as head coach, was still featured as an assistant on the match sheets. A situation that forces the club to pay a fine of 25,000 euros per game until its coach gets the precious sesame.

This season, the 30-year-old coach has made a convincing debut, marked by a run of 19 matches without defeat in the league, from October to March. But Reims, who once glimpsed the European places, fell at the end of the season to currently only appear in 11th place.

Next season, Will Still will be accompanied on the bench by his younger brother, Nicolas, 26, appointed assistant. The other assistants, Samba Diawara and Alberto Escobar, remain in place, as do Thomas Trochut, the goalkeeper coach.
