The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has announced a list of scholarships to study in Germany in English, and the study does not require proficiency in the German language, with the next batch starting in 2024.

The list includes 38 scholarships to study in Germany in English spread across 9 disciplines: economic and political sciences, development studies, engineering, regional and urban planning, agriculture, medicine and public health, natural and environmental sciences, international law, and media studies.

List of the most important scholarships to study in Germany

1- Master of International Economics and Development from the Faculty of Applied Sciences "HTW" in Berlin.

The official website of the college has allowed the possibility of applying for study, and the application will end at the end of next August, and the site also provides dates for electronic meetings with college graduates, to learn how to apply for a scholarship to the "DAHD" body.

2- Master in Development Economics from George Auguste University, and the university receives applications from October 15 to November <>, and you can download the required documents from the official website.

3- Master of Development Management from the Development Research and Development Policy Institute (IEE), and the Institute began receiving applications through its official website, and the application will end at the end of next September.

The website provided a number of donor institutions to apply for study at the Institute free of charge.

6- Master of Renewable Energy Technologies from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of "Carl von Ossetsky", and the faculty receives applications in mid-October of each year through the official website.

7- Master in Urban Planning from the University of Stuttgart, and the university receives applications through the official website from the beginning of August to mid-February.

If you are Egyptian, you can enroll in the University of Stuttgart and Ain Shams University programs for the same specialization and attend the second year of your studies in Cairo.

8- International Doctoral Program in Agricultural and Bioeconomics in cooperation between the Universities of "Hohenheim" and "Jessen".

The program is accepting applications until the end of October via the DAAD website.

9- Master in Global Health Risk Management from the University of Bonn, and the university receives applications on its official website from October until mid-December.

10- Master of International Law from the Munich Center for Intellectual Property Law (MIPLC), and you can submit your application between now and the end of March next year through the official website of the Center.

How to get a scholarship from the German DAAD body?

1- If you come from a developing country and have at least two years of professional experience since graduation.

2- If you have a university degree in the major you intend to study.

3- Admission to the program is based on the following criteria: a cumulative GPA of 40%, the number of specialization courses you have studied by 25%, and a motivation letter of 35%.

4. Submit an electronic copy of a strong motivation letter with a maximum of two pages, dated and signed, demonstrating your development motivation after receiving the grant and your future ability to assume social responsibility, initiate and support changes in your home country.

5- Proof of English language proficiency with a TOEFL or IELTS certificate.

6- Prepare electronic copies of documents supporting your professional or volunteer experience and letters from your former managers and professors.

7- Make sure your application is completed by the deadline to win a scholarship to study in Germany in English.
