Rive legal firm purported to help people who had been mistreated in the workplace. But many clients instead lost tens of thousands of kronor without having received any help, which SVT has previously reported on.
Sandra was hired as a secretary at Rive, but the job included tricking people online.
"Richard's words that mattered"
Using fake Google accounts, Sandra fabricated a variety of positive reviews about the company. Her work tools were four different laptops and a binder with different sim cards. Using them, she would systematically build credible fake accounts that all praised Rive.
The average rating of Rive reviews did not fall below 4.0.
"It was Richard's words that mattered. If I had known what to do, I wouldn't have taken the job," says Sandra.
"Ugly methods"
When Dokument from the inside interviews Richard Olsson, he points out that he does not believe that the tactics are unusual.
"It would be a terribly naïve attitude to think that the market works in other ways," he says.
"These are ugly methods, absolutely. But in the market you get to drive on and if you don't, you get overtaken. There is nothing more to it.
