Iceland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom also participated. And Great Britain became the final opponent for Ukraine during Sunday's final. It won Ukraine 8-5

In addition to the win, the purpose was to meet other teams, to reunite with the national team and play together.

"It's great to get together again, to meet old friends, there's a lot of jokes and a great atmosphere in the national team," says Andrii Semeniuk.

Power cuts and airstrikes

Floorball in Ukraine, like all sports during the ongoing war, is struggling with problems.

"It is difficult to play in Ukraine, sometimes training sessions and matches have to be interrupted due to power outages, or the sirens for air strikes start sounding. Then you run down into a bomb shelter and when the sirens have silenced, the match can continue, says Andrii Semeniuk.
