In mid-December last year, a woman in her 40s from Timrå was found dead outdoors in a residential area in Njurunda, south of Sundsvall.

Initially, the whole thing was investigated as murder, and two people were initially arrested as suspects. They were later released, but a man in his 55s and a woman in her 50s have since been still suspects in the case, where the classification was eventually changed from murder to aggravated manslaughter.

Desecrated

Now the man has been removed from the investigation and is no longer a suspect in the case.

The preliminary investigation was recently completed and has been reported to prosecutor Malin Löfgren.

"The forensic examination shows that the plaintiff was not killed intentionally. I hope to be able to make a decision on the prosecution before the summer," she says.
