According to the agency's website, she noted that the crisis situation was too tough for the "peacekeepers" of the NATO mission KFOR.

"They not only showed their lack of professionalism, but also became a source of unnecessary violence, an escalation factor," she stressed.

Zakharova noted that NATO members took the side of Pristina's xenophobic aspirations, turned into actual accomplices in terror.

Earlier, the NATO mission in the partially recognized Republic of Kosovo (KFOR) said it had strengthened its presence in four municipalities in northern Kosovo.

On May 30, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that the KFOR mission did not protect the Kosovo Serbs, contrary to these guarantees.

He said that 52 Serbs were injured in clashes with the Kosovo police and the NATO KFOR contingent.
