The Sweden Democrats in Hudiksvall thus want to see more camera surveillance on the city's streets and squares. Peter Asp Vilén's proposal is to use the police to identify various messy places and install cameras there, to both curb crime and increase the feeling of security. His motion was up at the council yesterday and was debated, which Hudiksvall newspaper wrote about.

– It is a quick fix and will not help the problem fundamentally, says municipal commissioner Lina Johnsson (MP).

Instead, she believes that the biggest problem with violent crime in the municipality is those that take place in close relationships in people's houses and homes. This is where she wants to focus her political work.
