While she published a book on the cruelty of the world and politics, entitled "Refuse the cruelty of the world! The time to love has come" at the editions of the Rock, the former minister Ségolène Royal, guest of Europe Matin Tuesday, returned to the speech of the director Justine Triet at the Cannes Film Festival.

The Palme d'Or, awarded to French director Justine Triet for "Anatomy of a Fall" is likely to remain in the memories. The reward in her hands, Justine Triet accompanied her speech of thanks with a charge against the government in its management of the pension reform. The popular protest was "denied and shockingly repressed," she said. A speech that did not please the Minister of Culture Rima Abdul Malak, who deemed it "unfair".

Happy to see the Palme d'Or awarded to Justine Triet, the 10th for the France! But stunned by his speech so unfair. This film would not have been possible without our French film financing model, which allows for a diversity that is unique in the world. Let us not forget that.

According to Ségolène Royal, former minister, author of "Refuse the cruelty of the world! The time to love has come" to the editions of the Rock, the government should have taken a little time before reacting. "It is a strong social signal that in this context that such a speech has taken place, to denounce the repression on the social movement," she told Europe 1.

Invited by Europe Matin on Tuesday, the former Minister of the Environment has, in turn, denounced the repression of the government. "You can't dispute the reality of the facts as they are. It is still the first time in the history of France that we see such repression on a social movement, [this] instead of taking into consideration the scope of this social movement and seeking to respond to it," she said, adding that the executive had preferred to "ignore it by repressing it".
