The Kyiv regime has chosen the path of intimidation of Russia and its citizens by attacking residential buildings, which is a clear sign of terrorist activity. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, commenting on the UAV raid on Moscow and the Moscow region.

"Moscow's air defense system worked normally, satisfactorily, although there is something to work on. We faced the same problems at the Khmeimim airfield in Syria, and the territory of our Khmeimim airbase and Moscow, a huge European metropolis, is simply not comparable. But in general, it is clear what needs to be done to seal the air defense of the capital, and we will do it," Putin said.

At the same time, the Russian leader stressed that in this way Russia is provoked to a response.

"Apparently, this is designed for - they provoke us to mirror actions. Let's see what to do about it," the President of the Russian Federation emphasized.

In this regard, Vladimir Putin addressed the citizens of Ukraine, noting that Kiev unleashed total terror against them.

"No matter what we say, they will always look for the guilty in Russia, but this is not so: we did not unleash this war, I repeat, in 2014 the Kiev regime unleashed a war in the Donbass - and we do not use the means used by the Ukrainian tycoons. And another confirmation of this is the attack on civilian targets in Moscow. But I repeat once again: the air defense system in our capital worked normally. There is something to work on, I repeat once again, and we know what needs to be done," the head of state concluded.

"The Kyiv regime carried out a terrorist act"

The target of the terrorist attack undertaken by Kiev with unmanned aerial vehicles was civilian objects in Moscow. This was stated by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu during a conference call.

"This morning, the Kiev regime carried out a terrorist act in the Moscow region. I would like to note that there are civilian targets. It involved eight aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles. All of them are amazed," Shoigu said.

According to him, in Moscow, three drones were suppressed by electronic warfare, the drones lost control and deviated from their intended targets. Five more were shot down in the Moscow region by the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile-gun system.

Act of terrorism

On the fact of the attack of unmanned aerial vehicles on behalf of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin, the Main Investigation Department of the department initiated a criminal case under Art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist Act").

"Experienced investigators and criminologists of the central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia, as well as experts from the SEC of the department, are involved in the investigation," the IC said in a statement.

The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia stressed that on behalf of Igor Krasnov, the departments of the capital and the Moscow region control the investigation of the circumstances of the incidents in residential buildings in Moscow and in the Moscow region.

Along with this, the Moscow prosecutor's office warned of responsibility for the public dissemination of knowingly false information in connection with the identification of false information.

"Administrative and criminal liability is provided for public dissemination under the guise of reliable knowingly false socially significant information, including about circumstances that pose a threat to the life and safety of citizens," the report said.

"There is no panic"

According to the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, the attack testifies to the "absolute hysteria of the Ukrainian military-political leadership." He also pointed out that "Moscow turned out to be more protected than the enemy imagined," and emergency services demonstrated "an example of cohesive work."

"If Ukraine with this chaotic and inept attack pursued the goal of rallying the Russian people, then it did it well," he wrote on Telegram.

RT military correspondent Valentin Gorshenin visited the scene of the emergency on Leninsky Prospekt in Moscow, where a drone flew into the window of one of the apartments. According to him, local residents "endure all these events very steadfastly, there is no panic."

"Evacuated residents are starting to return to their homes"

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that residents evacuated after the attack by Ukrainian drones are beginning to return to their homes.

"Emergency services have carried out all the necessary measures to study the circumstances of the buildings damaged by the UAV. Residents evacuated for the unhindered work of special services are beginning to return to their homes. The residents of the house on Leninsky Prospekt will be the first to return to the apartments," Sobyanin wrote in his Telegram channel.

He also instructed specialized specialists to eliminate minor damage to buildings as soon as possible.

Earlier, Sobyanin reported that no one was seriously injured as a result of the UAV attack, two people sought medical help. At the same time, the governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, pointed out that several drones were shot down on approach to the capital.

"This once again confirms the need to continue the NWO"

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the attack of Ukrainian UAVs, noted that the authorities of Moscow, the Moscow region, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, air defense systems worked properly.

"It is quite clear that we are talking about the response of the Kyiv regime to our very effective strikes on the center, one of the decision-making centers. This blow took place on Sunday," he explained.

According to him, this once again confirms the need to continue this special military operation and achieve its goals.
