- Death of Lluís Llongueras, the picarón who stopped being a virgin at 17
The hairdresser Lluís Llongueras Batlle has died this Monday, May 29, 2023 in Barcelona, after a long illness.
Famous for his original and unique outfits, his scissors had earned him national and world fame. He was one of the most mediatic stylists in Spain and founded his own company, the Llongueras franchise, which had 50 stores throughout Spain and 120 worldwide.
Born in Esparraguera (Barcelona) in 1936, he worked from the age of 14. He started as a hairdressing assistant until he became a media figure. He was also an artist, writer and collaborated with Dalí to make a gigantic wig.
His funeral will be on Wednesday morning, in Barcelona.
