Gong Junlong, Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Guangdong Community Organizations, said that the event is mainly to celebrate the 26th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, and the market will set up more than 200 stalls selling special dry goods, local snacks, ethnic handicrafts and costumes, etc., and will also arrange a number of performances, including performances by mainland singers, Fujian Quanzhou puppets, Sichuan face changing, Shandong Tai Chi Kung Fu, Guangdong lion art performances, etc., so that Hong Kong citizens can listen to local music, narrate local feelings, taste local taste, and relieve homesickness.

Mr Seah De-chung, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Hokkien Community Organizations, pointed out that he hoped that the event would become a window for citizens to get close to and understand the culture of all parts of the country, and that the market would stimulate consumption and play a good role as a "super contact" between Hong Kong and the Mainland.
